In January
2008, 21 new scholars, 14 boys and 7 girls, started secondary
education thanks to the generosity of sponsors who wish to
give young Kenyans hope and the opportunity to rise above
poverty through education.
Since
1999, a total of 154 Scholarships have been awarded (100 boys
and 54 girls).
So,
in 2008:
- there
are 80 scholars in Secondary School
- there are 66 scholars in Tertiary Education
- 8 Scholars have had their awards terminated
